The Spank SPANK 359 Vibrocore Rear Wheel is a 27.5″ wheel with a 32-hole, 148mm Boost spacing and an XD freehub, finished in black. It features the new SPANK HEX Drive Hub with a 102-tooth, 6-pawl ratchet system that provides 3.5 degrees of engagement for nearly instant pickup.
The wheel uses a low-profile alloy rim with a 19mm profile height and 30.5mm inner width, incorporating SPANK’s Vibrocore technology to enhance torsional strength and lateral stiffness. This design offers a smooth, responsive ride with improved traction and reduced vibration, benefiting both rider comfort and rim durability. The rim accommodates tires from 2.0″ to 2.6″ and supports tubeless setups with bead bite hooks to maintain tire security at lower pressures.
Hand-built to A-Class specifications with triple-butted J-hook spokes and brass external nipples, the wheel uses a 3-cross lacing pattern and comes tubeless-taped with a Presta valve. The hub features CNC forged alloy construction with a 6-bolt disc mount.
This rear wheel is suitable for all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, cross-country, and e-bike use when paired with the appropriate SPANK HEX Drive steel freehub adapter. It is built for riders across various weight and impact levels, designed to handle heavy use and demanding conditions.
