Description
The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 Rear Hub features the HEX DRIVE 102T technology with 102 teeth and 6 independent pawls, providing 3.5 degrees of engagement for fast and precise pedal response. It has 32 J-hook spoke holes and a 6-bolt disc mount. The hub uses a full alloy body and axle with Bite Block Alloy freehub options, designed to resist cassette damage while keeping weight low. An advanced seal system helps protect the bearings and drive system from contamination.
This Boost 12x148mm hub is available in a matte anodized blue finish with laser-etched logos. It comes with an alloy HG or XD freehub, weighing approximately 318g (HG) or 310g (XD). The hub can be converted to QRx141 using a separate endcap (sold separately).
Suitable for mountain biking disciplines including all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, and cross-country, the HEX Boost hub offers reliable performance and durability.
Adapters and service kits compatible with Spank HEX J-type rear hubs are available separately.
