The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 hub is designed for fast engagement and durability. It features the HEX DRIVE 102T system with 6 pawls, providing 3.5 degrees of engagement for quick pickup. The hub body, axle, and freehub are made from CNC optimized forged alloy, with options for alloy HG or XD freehubs. The hub includes an advanced seal system to protect against contamination and a unique flange design that reduces dish requirements and balances spoke tension.
This Boost 12x148mm hub has 32 J-hook holes and a 6-bolt disc mount. It comes in a matte anodized green finish with laser logos. The freehub options are lightweight, weighing approximately 318g (HG) or 310g (XD). The hub can be converted to QRx141 with a separately sold endcap adapter. It is suitable for various riding styles, including All Mountain, Trail, Enduro, Freeride, Downhill, Gravel, and XC.
Adapters and service kits for this hub are available separately and compatible with Spank HEX J-type rear hubs.
