Description
The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 Hub features the HEX DRIVE 102T technology, providing 3.5 engagement with six independent pawls and a total of 18 engagement points per click for fast, reliable power transfer. The hub has a full alloy body and axle, with Bite Block alloy freehubs designed to resist cassette damage without the extra weight of steel. It includes an advanced seal system to protect bearings and the drive system from contamination.
Designed for Boost 12x148mm spacing with a 32-hole J-hook configuration, this hub comes in a matte anodized orange finish with laser logos. It supports both alloy HG and XD freehubs and weighs approximately 318 grams (HG) or 310 grams (XD). The hub can be converted to QRx141 spacing with a separately available endcap.
The unique flange design reduces wheel dish and balances spoke tension between the drive and non-drive sides. It has a 6-bolt disc mount and is intended for use in all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, and cross-country biking.
Adapters and service kits compatible with Spank HEX J-Type rear hubs are available separately.
