Description
The Spank SPANK HEX Boost R141/148 Hub is designed for high-performance mountain biking disciplines including all mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, and cross-country. Featuring the HEX DRIVE 102T technology, this hub offers fast engagement with 3.5 degrees of rotation and 18 engagement points per click through six independent pawls.
Constructed with a full alloy body and axle, the hub includes Bite-Block alloy freehub options, which resist cassette damage while keeping the weight low. The advanced seal system helps protect bearings and the drive system from contamination. The unique flange design reduces spoke dish and balances tension between the drive and non-drive sides.
Specifications include a 32-hole J-hook design, 6-bolt disc mount, and a boost configuration of 12x148mm. The hub is finished with matte anodizing and laser logos and is available in blue. It weighs approximately 318 grams with the HG freehub and 310 grams with the XD freehub.
This hub can be converted to QRx141 using a separately purchased adapter. Additional adapters and service kits are available for various configurations and maintenance needs.
