The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 Rear Hub features the HEX DRIVE 102T technology, offering a fast 3.5 engagement with 6 independent pawls creating 18 engagement points for quick pickup. The hub has a full alloy body and axle, with Bite Block alloy freehub bodies designed to resist cassette damage without added weight. An advanced seal system helps protect the bearings and drive components from contamination.
This Boost 12x148mm hub comes with a 32-hole J-hook design and a 6-bolt disc mount. Available finishes include matte anodized with laser logos. The hub can be used with either alloy HG or XD freehubs, weighing approximately 318g (HG) or 310g (XD). It can be converted to QRx141 via a separate adapter purchase.
The HEX Boost hub is suitable for a range of riding styles, including all mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, and cross-country.
Adapters and service kits are available separately to support various axle configurations and maintenance needs.
