Description
The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 Hub features a 102-tooth, 6-pawl design delivering 3.5-degree engagement for rapid response. Its full alloy hub body and axle are CNC forged for strength and durability. The hub offers options between alloy HG and XD freehubs, with steel freehubs available for heavy-duty or e-bike use. An advanced seal system helps protect bearings and drive components from contamination.
Designed specifically for Boost 12x148mm spacing, the hub includes a 32-hole J-hook flange and a 6-bolt disc mount. It has a unique flange design that reduces dish requirements and balances spoke tension. The matte anodized finish features laser-etched logos. The hub weighs approximately 318 grams with the HG freehub and 310 grams with the XD freehub.
The hub can be converted to Quick Release x141mm setup with a separately available endcap. Various adapters and service kits compatible with Spank HEX J-type rear hubs are sold separately.
Intended for use in all mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, and cross-country riding disciplines.
