The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 Hubs feature the HEX DRIVE 102T technology, delivering fast engagement with 3.5 degrees per click. The hub uses six independent pawls, providing 18 engagement points for quick and efficient power transfer. Designed for Boost 12x148mm setups with 32 J-hook spokes, the hubs include alloy HG or XD freehub bodies suited for heavy-duty or e-bike use.
Constructed from CNC optimized forged alloy, the hub body, axle, and freehub are lightweight and durable. The unique flange design reduces spoke dish and balances tension between the drive and non-drive sides. An advanced seal system helps prevent contamination of the bearings and drive system.
This model features a matte anodized finish with laser-etched logos and accepts a separate adapter for conversion to QRx141. It has a 6-bolt disc mount and weighs approximately 318 grams (HG) or 310 grams (XD). No adapters are included but are available separately. The hubs are suitable for a variety of riding styles including all mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, and cross-country.
