The Spank HEX Boost R141/148 Hub offers lightning-fast engagement with its 102-tooth, 6-pawl HEX DRIVE system, providing 3.5-degree engagement for nearly instant pickup. The hub features a full alloy body and axle, with options for alloy or steel freehubs designed for heavy-duty or e-bike use. It includes an advanced seal system to protect the bearings and drive components from contamination.
This Boost 12x148mm hub has 32 J-hook spoke holes and uses a 6-bolt disc mount. The CNC-optimized forged alloy hub body and axle are finished with matte anodizing and laser logos. The hub is available in an orange color and weighs approximately 310 grams with the XD freehub or 318 grams with the HG freehub.
The hub can be converted to a QRx141 configuration with a separately sold endcap. No adapters are included, but several adapters and service kits are compatible for different configurations and maintenance needs.
