The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 Front Wheel is a hand-built 27.5″ wheel designed to A-Class specifications. It features a SPANK Hex Drive hub with 32 holes and Boost spacing of 15×110 or 20×110. The wheel uses a Sacred Geometry hollow bead wall design that enhances lateral and vertical strength and includes a wider bead wall to reduce pinch flats and improve impact resistance.
With a moderately low 19mm profile height and a 30.5mm inner width, the rim balances radial compliance and lateral stiffness for better traction and predictable handling across rough terrain. This width supports tire sizes from 2.0″ to 2.6″, including plus-sized tires, without compromising tire shape. The wheel is equipped with bead bite tubeless hooks for improved tubeless setup security and performance at lower pressures.
The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 front wheel is suitable for various riding styles, including all mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, XC, and e-bike use (when combined with the appropriate SPANK Hex Drive steel freehub, sold separately). It is classified to ASTM 5 standards.
Build details include triple-butted J-hook spokes with brass external nipples for the 32-hole version and tubeless-ready rims taped and valved with Presta valves. The wheel is designed for medium to heavy impact riding styles and accommodates riders with different body weights.
Compatible rear wheels for pairing include the SPIKE 369 Vibrocore Rear Wheel, SPIKE 369 Rear Wheel, and SPIKE 359 Vibrocore Rear Wheel. Adapter and service kits are available for Hex J-Type and Hex Straightpull front hubs, including torque caps, conversion kits, and replacement bearing kits.
