The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 Rear Wheel is a 29″ wheel with 32 spokes, designed for 148mm Boost Microspline hubs. It features the SPANK HEX Drive Hub with a 102-tooth, 6-pawl ratchet mechanism that provides 3.5 degrees of engagement for quick and responsive pedaling.
Hand-built to A-Class specifications, this wheel offers a premium lightweight performance option trusted by professional riders. Its Sacred Geometry hollow bead wall design increases lateral and vertical strength, while the wider bead wall reduces pinch flats and improves impact resistance.
With a moderately low 19mm profile height and a 30.5mm inner rim width, the wheel balances radial compliance-improving traction and comfort-with high lateral stiffness for predictable handling. It fits tires ranging from 2.0″ to 2.6″ and even accommodates plus-size tires without causing tire squaring. Bead Bite tubeless hooks enhance tubeless tire performance and security, even at lower pressures.
The rim is tubeless taped and equipped with a Presta valve. The build includes triple-butted J-hook spokes with brass external nipples, arranged in a 3-cross lacing pattern.
This wheel is compatible with several rear adapter options and service kits, including various replacement bearing kits, alloy axle shafts, and freehubs in HG, XD, and Microspline standards.
