The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 Vibrocore Front Wheel is a 29-inch, 32-hole wheel designed with a low-profile alloy rim featuring Spank’s Vibrocore technology. This injection adds torsional strength and lateral stiffness, resulting in a smooth and responsive ride. The rim uses a Sacred Geometry hollow bead wall design to improve lateral and vertical strength, with a wider bead wall that reduces pinch flats and increases impact resistance.
With a moderately low profile height of 19mm and an inner width of 30.5mm, the rim provides a balance of radial compliance and lateral stiffness for predictable handling. Radial compliance enhances traction over rough terrain by absorbing bumps and chatter while reducing vibration transmitted to the rider. The Vibrocore inner well further minimizes harmful vibrations, improving comfort and extending rim fatigue life.
This wheel is hand-built to A-Class specifications and features the SPANK Hex Drive J-Type hub. It is tubeless-ready with bead bite tubeless hooks for improved tire security at lower pressures. The rim accommodates tires ranging from 2.0 to 2.6 inches and supports plus-size tires without negatively squaring off tire profiles.
Compatible front adapters include Boost 15×110, Boost 20×110, and others for Hex J-Type hubs. It pairs well with various Spank SPIKE 369 and 359 Vibrocore rear wheels. This wheel is classified as ASTM 5 and intended for all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, cross-country, and E-bike use (with appropriate freehub adapters sold separately). The build includes triple-butted J-hook spokes, brass external nipples, and 3-cross lacing.
