Description
The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 Vibrocore rear wheel features a 32-hole, 27.5″ alloy rim with a 30.5mm inner width and 19mm profile height. It is hand-built to A-Class specifications and uses Spank’s Vibrocore technology, which enhances torsional strength and lateral stiffness while reducing harmful vibrations for a smoother, more responsive ride. The rim’s hollow bead wall design improves impact resistance and reduces pinch flats.
This wheel is laced to the SPANK HEX Drive hub, equipped with a 102-tooth, 6-pawl ratchet system that provides 3.5 degrees of engagement for quick pickup. The hub is made from CNC-optimized forged alloy and supports a 6-bolt disc mount. The wheel uses J-hook, triple-butted spokes with brass external nipples and features tubeless-ready bead bite hooks for secure tire fitment at lower pressures.
Compatible with Superboost 12x150mm and 12x157mm XD axle standards, this rear wheel fits various frames from brands like Evil, Pivot, and Devinci. It is designed for demanding riding styles such as all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, cross-country, and e-bike, and is suited for riders with heavy to medium impact riding styles.
The wheel accommodates tires ranging from 2.0″ to 2.6″ and wider. It is tubeless taped and valved with a Presta valve included. Compatible service kits and adapters are available separately for hub maintenance and axle conversions.
