Description
The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 Vibrocore Rear Wheel features a 32-hole, 29-inch design with 148mm Boost spacing and a Shimano HG freehub. It is hand-built to A-Class standards and uses the new Spank Hex Drive hub with a 102-tooth, 6-pawl ratchet system that provides 3.5 degrees of engagement for quick response.
The wheel has a low-profile alloy rim reinforced with Spank’s Vibrocore technology, which adds torsional strength and lateral stiffness while reducing vibration transmission. Its 19mm profile height and 30.5mm inner width accommodate tires from 2.0″ to 2.6″, including plus-size tires. The Sacred Geometry hollow bead wall design improves impact resistance and reduces pinch flats. Bead Bite tubeless hooks enhance tubeless tire performance and security at lower pressures.
Built for durability and performance, this wheel is suited for all mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, cross-country, and e-bike use (with a steel freehub adaptation available separately). It is designed to support a range of rider weights and impact levels, emphasizing reliability for heavy and medium riders with medium to heavy impact riding styles.
The hub is made from CNC-optimized forged alloy with an alloy axle and freehub body. It features a 6-bolt disc mount and uses triple-butted J-hook spokes with brass external nipples, laced in a 3-cross pattern. The wheel comes tubeless-ready with taped rim and Presta valve.
Compatible adapters and service kits are available for different hub spacings, freehub types, and axle shafts.
This rear wheel pairs with Spank’s Spike 369 Vibrocore front wheel, Spike 369 front wheel, and Spike 359 Vibrocore front wheel for a complete wheelset.
