Description
The Spank SPANK SPIKE 369 Vibrocore rear wheel is a high-performance 29″ wheel with a 32-hole drill pattern and 148mm Boost Microspline hub spacing. It features the SPANK Hex Drive hub with a 102-tooth, 6-pawl ratchet providing 3.5 degrees of engagement for quick and reliable engagement.
The wheel is built with a low-profile alloy rim enhanced by SPANK’s Vibrocore technology, which improves torsional strength and lateral stiffness while reducing harmful vibrations for a smoother ride. The rim has a 19mm profile height, 30.5mm inner width, and 35mm outer width, accommodating tire widths from 2.0″ to 2.6″ and supporting plus-size tires without compromising tire profile.
Spank’s hollow bead wall design increases lateral and vertical strength, enhances impact resistance, and reduces pinch flats. The rim also includes tubeless-ready bead bite hooks for improved tubeless tire performance and security, even at lower pressures.
Hand-built to A-Class standards, the wheel features triple-butted J-hook spokes laced in a 3-cross pattern to a CNC-forged alloy hub body with a 6-bolt disc mount. It uses brass external nipples and comes tubeless taped with a Presta valve.
This rear wheel is designed for aggressive riders and heavy use, suitable for disciplines including all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, gravel, cross-country, and e-bike applications when paired with the appropriate SPANK Hex Drive steel freehub (sold separately).
Compatible adapters and service kits are available for various axle standards and freehub types.
