Description
The Spank SPANK SPIKE Race 33 Front Wheel is a 27.5″ high-performance alloy rim designed specifically for freeride, enduro, and downhill racing. It features a tubeless-ready setup with anti-burp rim hooks to maintain tire pressure and secure the tire in place.
The wheel has 32 holes and a rim width of 33mm (outer) and 28mm (inner), optimized to improve tire spread and traction. Its corrugated rim center adds strength and rigidity while allowing a wider rim profile without extra material. A shot peen finish enhances durability and extends fatigue life.
This front wheel uses the Spank HEX J-Type hub with a Boost 15×110 and 20×110 spacing. It is built by hand with triple-butted J-hook spokes and brass external nipples, laced in a 3-cross pattern. The wheel comes tubeless taped with a Presta valve and fits tires sized between 1.9″ and 2.5″.
Recommended for riders across light to heavy impact styles and suited for all-mountain, trail, enduro, freeride, downhill, and gravel use. It is also compatible with Spank Hex Drive steel freehubs for e-bike applications (freehub sold separately).
