Description
The Surly Midnight Special Frameset in Black Cherry Fizz is a steel endurance road bike frame designed for comfort and speed on long rides over varied surfaces, including rough pavement and gravel. It features a 100% Surly Chromoly double-butted frame with a 1-1/8″ threadless Chromoly fork. The frameset includes mounts for racks, fenders, and three sets of water bottles. It supports flat-mount disc brakes and has a 44mm head tube.
Tire clearance ranges depending on use: without fenders, it fits 27.5 x 2.35″ or 700c x 42mm tires; with fenders, it accommodates 650b x 50mm or 700c x 38mm tires. The rear axle uses a 12mm thru-axle at 142mm spacing, and the front axle is 12mm thru-axle at 100mm spacing. This frameset is available in a 40cm size and supports both 650b and 700c wheel sizes.
