The Surly Midnight Special Frameset is designed for endurance road riding, offering comfort and speed on long rides across varying surfaces. Its steel frame features a double-butted main triangle made from 100% Surly Chromoly, paired with a 1-1/8″ threadless Chromoly fork. The frame accommodates both 650b and 700c wheel sizes, with tire clearance up to 27.5 x 2.35″ without fenders, 700c x 42mm without fenders, 650b x 50mm with fenders, and 700c x 38mm with fenders. This frameset includes flat-mount disc brake compatibility, 12mm thru axles (front: 100mm, rear: 142mm), a 44mm head tube, and mounts for racks, fenders, and three sets of water bottles. Available in a 50cm size and stainless teal color, it is built to handle rough pavement and gravel while maintaining a smooth ride.
