Description
The Surly Steamroller Frameset is a steel fixed gear or single speed frame designed for urban riding. It features a 49cm 4130 chromoly steel frame and fork in Anxious Lavender. The frame has road bike geometry with track bike characteristics, including 120mm rear spacing, a track-legal bottom bracket height, and compatibility with track cranks. The fork is a 1-1/8″ threadless chromoly steel model, brazed and rigid.
This frameset supports rim brakes with mid-reach caliper compatibility (47-57mm) on the fork and seatstay bridge, and includes brake cable stops for cleaner rear brake routing. It accommodates 700c wheels with tire clearance up to 38mm without fenders and 32mm with fenders. The frame includes one bottle cage mount and is finished with a durable powder coat and an E.D. coating for rust resistance. Rear axle spacing is 120mm quick release, and front axle spacing is 100mm quick release.
