Description
The Surly Steamroller Frameset in Anxious Lavender is a 53cm steel frame designed for fixed gear or single-speed riding. Built from 100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel with a double-butted main triangle and TIG-welded construction, this frameset offers durability and strength. It features road bike geometry combined with track bike elements, including 120mm rear spacing, track-legal bottom bracket height, and compatibility with track cranks.
The rigid fork is made of 1-1/8″ threadless chromoly steel and is brazed for added durability. Both the fork and seatstay bridge are drilled for mid-reach caliper brakes (47-57mm), and the frame includes brake cable stops for neat rear brake routing. It can accommodate 700c tires up to 38mm wide without fenders and up to 32mm with fenders. There is one bottle cage mount on the frame. The finish is powder coated for durability and E.D. coated to resist rust. The frameset uses quick-release axles with 100mm front and 120mm rear spacing and is designed for rim brakes.
