Description
The Surly Steamroller Frameset in Anxious Lavender is a 56cm steel frame and fork designed for fixed gear or single speed riding. It features a 100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel frame with a double-butted main triangle and TIG-welded construction. The rigid steel fork is 1-1/8″ threadless and brazed. The frameset has road bike geometry combined with track bike elements, including 120mm rear spacing, track-legal bottom bracket height, and compatibility with track cranks.
It accommodates rim brakes with fork and seatstay bridges drilled for mid-reach caliper brakes (47-57mm) and includes brake cable stops for cleaner rear brake routing. The frame allows up to 700c x 38mm tires without fenders (32mm with fenders) and has one bottle cage mount. The frame is powder coated for durability and treated with an E.D. coating for rust resistance. The rear axle is a quick release at 120mm, and the front axle is a quick release at 100mm.
