Description
The Surly Steamroller Frameset is a steel fixed gear or single speed frame designed for urban riding. It features road bike geometry with track bike elements, including 120mm rear spacing, track-legal bottom bracket height, and compatibility with track cranks. The frame and fork are made from 100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel, with a double-butted main triangle and TIG-welded construction.
The steel fork is threadless, 1-1/8″ in size, and brazed for strength. Both the fork and seatstay bridge are drilled to accommodate mid-reach caliper brakes (47-57mm). Brake cable stops are included for cleaner rear brake routing. It clears tires up to 700c x 38mm without fenders and 32mm with fenders. There is one bottle cage mount on the frame.
The frame is finished with durable powder coating and E.D. coating for rust resistance. This frameset is size 59cm, comes in Anxious Lavender, and includes QR axles (120mm rear, 100mm front) with rim brake setup.
