Surly Steamroller Frameset – 62cm, 700c, Steel, Frank or Beans
Celebrate the 20th anniversary of Blue Lug bike shop with this limited-edition Surly Steamroller frameset, featuring special paint and graphics designed in collaboration with the Blue Lug team. Built as a street-smart steel frameset for fixed gear or single speed riding, the Steamroller is made to handle everyday urban riding, including potholes and rough surfaces.
The frame has road bike geometry combined with track bike features, such as 120mm rear spacing, track-legal bottom bracket height, and compatibility with track cranks. It is constructed from 100% Surly 4130 chromoly steel with a double-butted main triangle and TIG-welded joints. The steel fork is 1-1/8″ threadless and brazed, with mounts drilled for mid-reach caliper brakes (47-57mm). Brake cable stops are included for cleaner rear brake routing.
The frameset accommodates 700c wheels, with a maximum tire clearance of 38mm without fenders (32mm with fenders). It includes one bottle cage mount. The frame is finished with a durable powder coat and an E.D. coating for rust resistance.
