Description
The Thule Verse Hitch Bike Rack is designed to carry two bikes and fits a 1-1/4″ hitch receiver. It supports bikes weighing up to 60 lbs each, including heavy e-bikes. The rack uses a tray-style mounting system that holds bikes by their wheels, accommodating tires up to 5″ wide and wheels up to 29″ in diameter. It fits bikes with wheelbases up to 53″ and provides 11.4″ of space between bikes to reduce contact.
The rack features an ergonomic handle and release lever for quick loading and unloading without touching the bike frames. It includes a patented side stacking release lever on the wheel holder for tool-free adjustment and to prevent bike-to-bike contact. A robust 12mm steel braided cable with a rubber sleeve is included to lock the bikes, along with a hitch lock to secure the rack to the vehicle.
The rack tilts outward using an outboard handle, allowing rear cargo access with or without bikes mounted. Ratcheting pump buckles and wheel straps make securing tires fast and easy. The rack is foldable and compatible with the Thule One-Key System for convenient locking. It is constructed from steel and finished in black.
