Description
The Thule Verse Hitch Bike Rack is designed to carry two bikes on a 2″ receiver hitch. It supports bikes weighing up to 60 lbs each, including heavy e-bikes. The tray-style rack fits tires up to 5″ wide or 29″ in diameter and accommodates wheelbases up to 53″. Bikes are spaced 11.4″ apart to reduce contact between them.
The rack features an ergonomic handle and release lever for quick loading and unloading without touching the bike frames. Its design includes additional fork clearance and a rubberized mounting surface to protect forks from wear. The patented side stacking release lever on the wheel holder allows tool-free adjustment and prevents bikes from touching each other.
For security, the rack comes with a 12mm steel braided cable with a rubberized sleeve to lock bikes, as well as a hitch lock for securing the rack to the vehicle. It is compatible with the Thule One-Key System. The outboard release handle enables easy tilting of the rack for rear cargo access, whether or not bikes are mounted. Ratcheting pump buckles and wheel straps secure tires up to 5″ wide.
This steel rack weighs 55 lbs, is foldable, and can be expanded to carry four bikes using the Verse 2-bike add-on.
