The Vittoria Mezcal XC Sport Tire is a 29 x 2.4-inch clincher tire with a wire bead, designed for mountain biking on various terrains. It features a low-profile tread with tightly spaced knobs in the center to reduce rolling resistance and increase durability. Multiple effective edges provide reliable grip on different surfaces, while directional siping on each knob enhances traction on roots and rocks. Made with Vittoria’s Graphene-enhanced 4-compound rubber, this tire balances grip, durability, and lightweight performance. It has a 60 TPI casing and flat protection in the tread area. The tire is black and weighs 800 grams. Please note, it is not approved for use with hookless rims.
