Description
The Wheel Factory Stan’s Flow D Wheel is a 29-inch rear wheel designed with a durable 6069 aluminum Flow D rim. It features a pinned joint and reinforced spoke bed, optimized for tire widths between 2.3″ and 2.8″. The rim uses Bead Socket Technology (BST) with an asymmetric design that balances dent resistance and tire bead retention on both sides for improved performance in challenging terrain.
The wheel is built around a SRAM MTH 746 hub, which includes a strong steel driver body with a 3-pawl mechanism and 746 points of engagement. It is hand-laced and trued in the USA using DT Swiss Competition double-butted spokes (2.0/1.8/2.0) and brass DT Swiss Squorx nipples.
Additional specifications include 32 spokes, a 12×148 rear axle spacing, 29mm rim width, 18.9mm wheel depth, and a total weight of 1290g. The wheel supports tubeless tires and uses a 6-bolt brake mount. It comes in black and is compatible with Flow D rims.
