Description
The Wolf Tooth ALT XC Clipless Pedals are designed for reliable performance on trails and gravel roads. These dual-sided clipless pedals feature a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum body with a thinner profile at 15 mm, offering a larger platform area of 345 mm for better control and power transfer. They use a heat-treated 17-4 PH stainless steel axle with a proven axle and bearing design shared from Waveform Aluminum Pedals.
These pedals are SPD compatible and include Wolf Tooth cleats with shims and bolts. The Q factor is adjustable in 4 mm increments, with settings of 51, 55, and 59 mm, shipped set at 55 mm. Adjustments can be made easily at home using the included spacers; additional spacer kits are available separately to fine-tune the fit. They offer 5 degrees of float and 12 degrees of release for a secure yet comfortable connection.
The pedals have stainless steel binding cages and hardware. They fit standard 9/16″ crank arms and are machined and tested in Minnesota, USA. Regular maintenance is recommended, including applying WT-G Precision Bike Grease before installation and oiling the rear binding every 50 hours of riding or when clip-in/out force increases.
