The Wolf Tooth ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals in black are designed for reliable performance on trails and gravel roads. These pedals weigh 326 grams and have a thin profile of 16mm, offering a low stack height for better control and power transfer. They feature a larger platform area of 559 mm , providing increased stability compared to similar pedals. The open center design improves mud shedding while remaining fully compatible with standard SPD cleats, including the ones provided.
The pedals have a fixed Q factor of 55 mm, 5 degrees of float, and a 12-degree release angle. They use a proven axle and bearing design from Waveform Aluminum Pedals and are made from forged and post-machined aluminum with chromoly steel components.
Recommended maintenance includes applying oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding or when clipping in/out becomes difficult and using WT-G Precision Bike Grease on pedal threads during installation to ensure optimal performance.
Included with the pedals are cleats with shims and bolts. These pedals fit all standard cranks with 9/16-20 tpi threads but may not be compatible with some kid’s or vintage bikes that have smaller threads. Designed and tested in Minnesota, USA.
