The Wolf Tooth ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals in gold offer a lightweight and slim design for better control on trails and gravel roads. Weighing 326 grams with a 16mm stack height, these pedals are thinner and lighter than many other cross-country models. They provide a larger platform area of 534 mm for improved power transfer and stability. An open center between the cages helps shed mud more effectively compared to other SPD-compatible pedals.
These pedals are fully compatible with SPD cleats and come with Wolf Tooth cleats, shims, and bolts included. They feature a fixed Q factor of 55 mm, 5 degrees of float, and 12 degrees release. The axle and bearing design is proven and borrowed from Waveform Aluminum Pedals.
Designed and tested in Minnesota, USA, the pedals fit standard cranks with 9/16-20 tpi right- and left-hand threads, although some kid’s and vintage bikes with smaller threads may be incompatible.
For optimal performance, regular maintenance is recommended, including applying oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding and using WT-G Precision Bike Grease on pedal threads before installation. Replacement parts and service guides are available through Wolf Tooth Right to Repair.
