The Wolf Tooth ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals in orange are designed for use on trails and gravel roads, offering a lightweight and low-profile option for cross-country riding. Weighing 326 grams and measuring 16 mm in thickness, these pedals are slimmer and lighter than many competitors. They provide a larger platform area of 559 mm for improved control and power transfer.
These pedals feature an open center between the cages to help shed mud more effectively than other SPD-compatible pedals. They have a fixed Q factor of 55 mm, 5 degrees of float, and 12 degrees of release, offering reliable engagement and release.
Constructed with a forged and post-machined aluminum body, satin nickel-plated chromoly steel axle, and hard chrome plated chromoly steel binding cage, the pedals use a proven axle and bearing design from Waveform Aluminum Pedals.
The Wolf Tooth ALT pedals are fully compatible with standard SPD cleats, which are included along with shims and bolts. They fit standard cranks with 9/16-20 tpi right- and left-hand threads.
Wolf Tooth provides replacement parts and service guides through their Right to Repair program. For optimal performance, apply a drop of oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding or when clip-in/out force increases, and use WT-G Precision Bike Grease on pedal threads before installation.
