The Wolf Tooth ALT Performance XC Clipless Pedals in red are designed for trail and gravel riding. Weighing 326 grams, these pedals are lighter and thinner at 16mm than many other cross-country pedals, offering a low stack height and a larger platform area of 559 mm for better control and power transfer. They feature an open center between the cages to enhance mud shedding and are fully compatible with SPD cleats, with Wolf Tooth cleats included.
The pedals have a fixed Q factor of 55 mm, 5 degrees of float, and a 12-degree release angle. Their proven axle and bearing design comes from Waveform Aluminum Pedals. Made from forged and post-machined aluminum with chromoly steel axles and binding cages, these pedals are built for durability. They fit all standard cranks with 9/16-20 tpi right- and left-hand threads, although some kids’ and vintage bikes may have incompatible threads.
Maintenance includes applying oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding and using WT-G Precision Bike Grease on pedal threads during installation. Replacement parts and service guides are available through Wolf Tooth Right to Repair. The package includes pedals, cleats with shims, and bolts.
