The Wolf Tooth Waveform Performance Platform Pedal in Gold is designed for all-mountain riding, suitable for trail, downhill, and bike park use. It features a large aluminum platform measuring 112mm by 106mm, shaped to match your shoe footprint for a supportive ride. With a slim, dual-concave profile (16mm thick at the edges and 13.5mm in the center), the pedal cradles your foot to provide optimal pedal feel.
Each side of the pedal includes nine steel, rear-loading pins (4.5mm height) for strong traction, with four extra pins included. Pins can be removed or replaced using a 3mm hex tool without special tools. The large tapered leading edge helps deflect pedal strikes on rough terrain.
Built with durability in mind, the pedal has a 6061-T6 aluminum body, a hard chrome-plated chromoly steel axle (9/16″ spindle size), and three high-precision, low-friction sealed cartridge bearings, including one inboard igus bushing. A custom radial seal protects these bearings from water, dirt, and debris, ensuring smooth performance in various conditions.
The Waveform pedals are compatible with all cranks featuring 9/16-20 tpi right- and left-hand threads. Note that some kids’ or vintage bikes with smaller threads may not be compatible.
Recommended maintenance includes applying WT-G Precision Bike Grease to the pedal threads before installation. The pedals are fully serviceable with standard hex keys.
