Description
The Wolf Tooth Waveform Performance Platform Pedal in Silver is designed for all-mountain riding, from trail and downhill to bike park laps. Its large platform measures 112mm by 106mm and features a dual-concave shape that matches the footprint of your shoe, providing a secure and comfortable ride. The pedal is 16mm thick at the perimeter and 13.5mm thick in the center, cradling your foot for optimal pedal feel.
Each side of the pedal has nine steel, rear-loading pins (4.5mm height) to offer strong traction. The large, tapered leading edge helps deflect pedal strikes on rough terrain. The platform is made from extruded and post-machined 6061-T6 aluminum, while the axle is constructed from satin nickel-plated chromoly steel.
Inside, the pedal has three high-precision, low-friction sealed cartridge bearings, including an inboard igus bushing, all protected by a custom radial seal that keeps water, dirt, and debris out. The pedals are fully serviceable with common hex keys, and four extra grip pins are included. Pins can be adjusted or removed using a 3mm hex tool.
These pedals fit all cranks with 9/16-20 tpi right- and left-hand threads. Some kid’s and vintage bikes may have incompatible threads. It is recommended to apply WT-G Precision Bike Grease to the pedal threads before installation.
