Description
The Wolf Tooth CTRL Trail Performance Clipless Pedals are designed for all-mountain riding, offering reliable clip-in and clip-out performance. These dual-sided pedals feature a large 965 mm platform that securely contacts your shoe for improved control. They have a thin 16 mm profile, providing better cornering clearance, and an open center between the binding cages that helps shed mud effectively.
Weighing 341 grams, the pedals are lighter than many competitors. The body is made from forged and post-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a red finish, while the axle and binding cage are constructed from hard chrome plated chromoly steel. The pedals include three low-friction cartridge bearings and one igus bushing with a custom radial seal to protect internal parts from trail debris.
These pedals have a fixed Q factor of 55 mm, 5 degrees of float, and 12 degrees of release. They are compatible with Shimano SPD cleats, and Wolf Tooth cleats are included. Threads are standard 9/16-20 tpi for compatibility with most crankarms.
Regular maintenance is recommended for optimal performance, such as applying oil to the rear binding every 50 hours of riding and using WT-G Precision Bike Grease on pedal threads before installation.
Included with the pedals are cleats, shims, and bolts. The pedals are designed and tested in Minnesota, USA.
