Description
The Wolf Tooth Floating Axle for Fox Suspension Forks is designed to provide a strong and precise connection between your front hub and Fox 36 or 38 series fork. It features a hollow head that reduces excess material from the oversized 21mm diameter required by Fox forks, maintaining strength while minimizing weight.
Specifically made for Fox 36 and 38 forks released since 2021 with 15x110mm Boost hub spacing and a floating axle design, this axle is not compatible with Fox 32, 34, 36SL, 40 series forks, or earlier Fox 36 or 38 models.
Installation requires a 6mm hex key, a torque wrench with a 6mm hex bit, waterproof grease, a clean cloth, and isopropyl alcohol. The process involves removing the existing axle, cleaning contact surfaces, applying grease, installing and torquing the new axle to 9 Nm, settling the fork to its lowest friction point, and then tightening the pinch bolt to 5 Nm.
