Description
The Wolf Tooth Floating Axle for Fox Suspension Forks in Ultraviolet Purple is designed to provide a strong and precise connection between your front hub and Fox 36 or 38 series forks (model year 2021 and later) with 15x110mm Boost spacing. This axle reduces excess material from the oversized 21mm diameter head to maintain strength without adding extra weight.
Features include a hollow head and use of a 6mm hex key for installation. The axle weighs 44g and is made from 7075 T6 aluminum. It measures 136mm in length with a 15mm diameter and features an M14x1.5mm thread.
Installation requires a 6mm hex key, torque wrench with a 6mm bit, waterproof grease, clean cloth, and isopropyl alcohol. The process involves removing the existing axle, cleaning the interfaces, greasing the new axle, installing it, setting the lowest friction point by compressing the fork, and tightening the pinch bolt to specifications.
This axle is not compatible with Fox 32, 34, 36SL, 40 series forks, or Fox 36 or 38 forks made before 2021. Torque specifications for installation are 9Nm on the axle and 5Nm on the pinch bolt.
