The Wolf Tooth MK0 ALT XC Clipless Pedals are designed for trail and gravel riding, offering a lightweight and thin profile with an exceptionally low stack height. Made from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a titanium axle coated in diamond-like carbon (DLC), these pedals provide strength and durability while reducing weight.
Featuring a larger platform area for improved control and power transfer, the pedals also have an open center design that helps shed mud for reliable clip-in and clip-out performance. They are compatible with Shimano SPD cleats, which are included with the pedals.
The pedal system offers an adjustable Q factor with options of 51, 55, and 59 mm, allowing customization for rider comfort. Pedals ship set at the 55 mm position. Inside each pedal are three cartridge bearings and one igus bushing with a custom radial seal to protect against debris and ensure smooth operation.
The pedals provide 5 degrees of float and a 12-degree release angle. The hardware is made from PVD-coated titanium, and the binding cage and cleats are stainless steel. Weighing 246 grams per pair, the pedal thickness is 14.5 mm, with a platform area of 413 mm . They feature 9/16″ pedal spindles and fit all standard cranks with compatible thread size.
Recommended maintenance includes applying WT-G Precision Bike Grease or anti-seize to the axle flange and threads before installation, and regular lubrication of the rear binding every 50 hours of riding or if clipping forces increase. Replacement parts and service guides are available through Wolf Tooth’s Right to Repair program.
