Description
The Wolf Tooth Rear Axle in black (1.5 x 187mm) is designed with a captive steel washer under the head to reduce friction on the dropout face. This feature helps protect your frame, improves the clamping load for a stiffer connection, and prevents the axle from sticking when removed. It is compatible with 12mm rear thru-axles and fits axle lengths within 2mm of 187mm. The axle length is independent of hub dimensions, so use the provided Axle measurement guide to ensure the correct fit by matching axle length, thread pitch, and thread length. Installation requires a small amount of grease on the washer and threads. The axle weighs 46g, is made from 7075-T6 aluminum with a stainless steel washer, uses a 5mm hex key for installation, and should be tightened to a maximum of 12 Nm. Made in the USA.
