Description
The WTB KOM Tough i40 29″ rim features dual I-Beam construction for enhanced strength and stiffness. It includes CVX patented technology that improves spoke and nipple alignment, increasing strength at the spoke hole. Made from durable AL 6069 aluminum, this rim balances durability with reasonable weight. The updated spoke bed creates a better interface between the nipple and rim.
This rim uses WTB’s TCS 2.0 system, designed for easy mounting and reliable tubeless setup. It comes with a WTB Solid Strip that smooths the surface between tire and rim, preventing air loss if a spoke breaks. TCS tape is also needed for tubeless installation.
