Description
This bundle includes two WTB KOM Tough i40 29″ rims with CVX technology, each featuring 32 spoke holes. The rims are made from durable aluminum and have a width of 40mm and a wheel depth of 18.1mm. They use Dual I-Beam construction to enhance strength and stiffness. The patented CVX technology improves spoke and nipple alignment, increasing strength at the spoke hole. The rims have an updated spoke bed for a better interface between the nipple and rim.
These rims support WTB’s TCS 2.0 tubeless system, which offers easy mounting and reliable performance. Each rim includes a WTB Solid Strip that provides a smooth surface between tire and rim and helps prevent air loss if a spoke breaks. Note that TCS tape is also required for tubeless setup. The rims are black and designed for use with disc brakes. The effective rim diameter (ERD) is 603mm, and each rim weighs 653 grams.
