Description
This bundle includes two WTB Peacekeeper tires, size 29 x 2.40. These tubeless-ready, folding tires feature a black and tan color scheme.
The Peacekeeper is a versatile mountain bike tire designed for riders seeking a balance between speed, efficiency, and cornering confidence. It bridges the gap between cross-country and aggressive trail/enduro riding. The tread combines a fast-rolling center for momentum on climbs and flats with aggressive, well-spaced side knobs that provide secure cornering on dry, dusty, or slick terrain.
Each tire uses WTB’s lightest and most supple TCS Light SG casing with 120 TPI single-ply construction. This casing includes added puncture protection layers in the sidewalls and thicker rubber across the tread for durability without sacrificing weight. The TriTec compound features three layers: a high durometer base for support, medium-stiff center knobs, and softer side knobs for traction.
Additional details:
– Flat protection across tread and sidewall
– Tubeless-ready clincher design
– True 29 x 2.40 size (approximately 62mm width at riding pressure on 30mm internal rim width)
– Folding bead for easy transport and installation
– Weight: 741 grams per tire
– Suitable for front or rear use
