Description
The WTB Trail Boss Tire is a 27.5 x 2.40 mountain bike tire designed for eBikes and tubeless setups. It features a tight tread spacing for fast rolling and blocky, tall knobs that provide strong braking traction. The rounded profile and staggered, supported side knobs maintain grip even on uneven trail surfaces. Constructed with a 2-ply casing, TCS aramid bead, and Dual Compound DNA rubber, the tire combines a hard center with softer sides for balanced performance. The TriTec compound uses three rubber layers to optimize traction, support, and durability. This tire has sidewall flat protection, a 60 TPI casing, a folding bead, and a black color. It measures 27.5 inches in diameter and 62 mm in width and is commonly used as a rear tire paired with a WTB Vigilante up front.
