The WTB Trail Boss tire is a 29 x 2.4-inch tubeless-ready mountain bike tire designed for fast rolling with durability. It features tight tread spacing for high-speed performance while maintaining blocky, tall knobs that provide strong braking traction. The tire has a rounded profile and staggered, supported side knobs to maintain grip on uneven terrain.
Constructed with SG2 bead-to-bead puncture protection, it offers enhanced air retention and 80% more sidewall protection compared to traditional single-ply tires. The tire uses a folding bead and a 60 TPI casing, combining the Tritec fast-rolling compound with TCS Light SG2 casing for a balance of speed and durability.
Commonly paired as a rear tire with the WTB Vigilante on the front, the Trail Boss weighs 972 grams and comes in black. It is tubeless-ready and suitable for mountain biking.
