Description
The Yakima HoldUp Platform Hitch Bike Rack is a lightweight and compact carrier designed for two bikes. It fits a 2″ hitch receiver and supports bikes weighing up to 60 lbs (27 kg) each, including mountain, road, hybrid, BMX, youth, fat-tire, and e-bikes. The rack features a StrongArm hook that secures the front tire and a flip-away rear wheel strap for easy loading and unloading. It has adjustable offset trays to reduce bike-to-bike interference, accommodates wheel sizes from 20″ to 29″ (700c), tires up to 4.8″ wide, and wheelbases ranging from 34″ to 50″ (834-1270 mm). The 3-position tilt design allows trunk access with bikes loaded and folds flat when unloaded. The front wheel cradle fits wheels up to 29″ and folds up for compact storage or vehicle access. Installation is secured with a threaded bolt and includes a HitchLock with SKS to lock the rack to the vehicle. The rack is compatible with Yakima BackSwing and StraightShot hitch accessories (sold separately) supporting up to 40 lbs (18 kg) per bike. A built-in bottle opener is also included. The rack weighs 48.5 lbs.
