The Zipp 202 NSW Rear Wheel is designed for climbing and lightweight road riding. It features a 700c carbon rim with a 35mm depth and a 23mm internal width, optimized for tubeless tires. The rim uses a Biomimetic Laminate construction that combines different carbon fibers for stiffness at the spoke bed and toughness at the tire bed, enhancing durability and consistent performance.
This rear wheel includes a German-engineered ZR1 SL hubset with 20 lightweight Alpina Hyperlight spokes in a 2-cross pattern. It has a 12 x 142mm thru-axle and Shimano HG 10/11 cassette compatibility. The hub features ultra-corrosion resistant ceramic bearings and supports a center-lock disc brake system.
With an internal rim width that accommodates wider tires at lower pressures, this tubeless-ready wheel reduces rolling resistance and vibration, helping improve both speed and control on descents. The color scheme is black and dark gray. Presta valve included.
