The Zipp 202 NSW Rear Wheel is designed for climbing specialists seeking a lightweight and efficient wheel for steep grades. This 700c rear wheel features a 12 x 142mm thru axle and a 35mm deep carbon rim with a 23mm internal width, optimized for tubeless tires. It uses a carbon double-wall rim with a biomimetic laminate construction that enhances stiffness at the spoke bed and durability at the tire bed.
The wheel is built with Zipp’s Total System Efficiency (TSE) technology to improve efficiency and reduce rolling resistance. Its 20-hole configuration includes German-engineered ZR1 SL hubset with lightweight Alpina Hyperlight spokes. The hub features ultra-corrosion resistant ceramic bearings and Center-Lock disc brake compatibility. It is designed to work with SRAM XDR cassette bodies and uses a Presta valve.
