The Zipp 303 XPLR S B1 Rear Wheel is designed for gravel riders seeking a durable and affordable upgrade. Featuring a 32mm internal width and 40mm external width rim made from carbon, this tubeless-ready wheel offers a 54mm depth profile that integrates smoothly with gravel tires for improved aerodynamic efficiency.
Built with CX-Ray spokes and aluminum nipples, the wheel uses carbon steel cartridge bearings housed in Zipp 76D hubs with sealed cartridges. It fits a 12mm thru-axle at 142mm spacing and is compatible with SRAM XD-R cassettes. The rim supports tire pressures up to 50 psi but performs well under 30 psi to reduce vibrations and enhance grip on rough surfaces.
This rear wheel has 24 spoke holes and uses a Center Lock disc brake interface. It is designed for 700C (622mm) tires that meet Zipp’s approved specifications and includes a Presta valve. No skewer is included.
