The Zipp 303 XPLR S B1 Rear Wheel is designed for gravel riders seeking a durable and efficient upgrade. It features a 700C (622 ISO) carbon tubeless-ready rim with a 32mm internal width and 54mm depth, optimized for seamless integration with gravel tires. The wide rim profile increases air volume, allowing for lower tire pressures that reduce vibrations and improve grip on rough terrain.
Built with UD carbon fiber and a double-wall construction, this wheel is both lightweight and robust. It uses Sapim CX-Sprint spokes with aluminum nipples and includes a Zipp 76D hub equipped with sealed cartridge bearings. The rear hub is compatible with Shimano 11-speed road cassettes and supports a 12mm thru-axle at 142mm spacing.
Brake compatibility is limited to Center-Lock disc rotors. The wheel is finished in dark gray and black and is designed to work exclusively with Zipp-approved gravel tires, supporting maximum tire pressures up to 50 psi and the ability to run pressures below 30 psi. The valve type is Presta.
