Description
The Zipp 404 S A1 Rear Wheel is a 700C (622) road wheel designed for disc brakes with a Center Lock rotor interface. It features a 12mm thru-axle with 142mm spacing and is compatible with Shimano HG 11-speed cassettes. The wheel has 20 spokes arranged in a 2-cross pattern using Sapim CX-Sprint spokes.
Built with a 50mm deep, 23mm internal width carbon rim, the 404 S A1 uses a hookless, tubeless-ready straight side (TSS) design intended for tubeless tires only. It incorporates Zipp’s ZR700 hubs with stainless steel cartridge bearings and 36 points of quick engagement for improved hub performance.
The rim is constructed with double walls, finished in black and dark gray with carbon color accents. It has a Presta valve and does not include a skewer.
